DIOCESE RESOURCE LIBRARY
The Diocese maintains an extensive collection of books, periodicals and multimedia resources in circulation. We also have a large reference only material section. As in all libraries these books are not for normal circulation. You are welcome to use reference material on-site, take notes and/or make photocopies (5 cents per page). The Resource Library also provides an on-site Curriculum Center to assist catechist in all parishes.
The Video Library is available to all parishes and schools within the diocese through an annual membership fee. ($25 annually) The membership runs from July 1st thru June 30th.
The loan policy is 14 days (2 weeks). Renewals are permitted if materials are not on hold for other patrons.
All materials are under user’s care. All damages/losses are the responsibility of the person who has checked out the materials. We do not encourage mailing any materials especially videos.
The Diocesan Resource Library is located at the Diocesan Office Building, 2121 3rd Avenue North, across from The Cathedral of St. Paul in downtown Birmingham.
