St. Patrick's K of C to sponsor Dinner Dance, Aug. 25
The 17th Annual Jerome C. Bradley Memorial Dinner Dance will be held on Saturday, Aug. 25 from 6 p.m.-11 p.m. at the Bessemer Civic Center. Sponsored by St. Patrick Knights of Columbus Council 10567, the dinner dance gives its patrons chances to win up to $10,000 in cash door prizes while enjoying a buffet dinner, complete with desserts and beverages. A $100 ticket admits two and includes music and dancing by a professional dj. This year’s theme is Star and Stripes Forever.
The Council is also excited that Three Hots and A Cot has been chosen as the spotlight charity for this year’s event.
Rich Cislak, Co-Founder and Chief Financial Officer, said, “From all of us at Three Hots and A Cot, thank you to St. Patrick Knights of Columbus for your very generous donation in helping to end veteran homelessness.
"In the past eight years, we have had more than 1,200 veterans come through our program looking to get their life back again. Our success rate is 85% but we can never give up on the 15% that didn’t make it and, unfortunately, the countless more that will walk through our doors. Homeless and Veterans are two words that should never be used in the same sentence. Your generous donation will help provide the necessary resources they need to help them become proud again.”

The Dinner Dance, named in honor of the late Jerome C. Bradley, who was instrumental in starting the Dinner Dance in 2002, is a popular and fun event that supports the many worthwhile causes selected by Council 10567 during the year.
