St. Patrick Knights to hold memorial dinner, dance, Aug. 24
The 18th Annual Jerome C. Bradley Memorial Dinner Dance will be held on Saturday, Aug. 24, from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Bessemer Civic Center in Bessemer.
Sponsored by St. Patrick Knights of Columbus Council 10567, the Dinner Dance gives its patrons chances to win up to $10,000 in cash door prizes while enjoying a buffet dinner, complete with desserts and beer and wine. A $100 ticket admits two adults and includes music and dancing by a professional DJ. This year’s theme is Life’s a Beach.
The Council is also excited to announce that the WellHouse has been chosen as the spotlight charity for this year’s event.
WellHouse Chief Executive Officer Carolyn Potter said, “We are honored to be chosen as the beneficiary of this year’s event. The WellHouse is a rescue and recovery organization for female victims of human trafficking. This gift will help us achieve our mission of providing a safe residential and supportive environment to the sexually exploited.”
