Our Lady of the Valley Knights to host Charity Golf Tournament, Oct. 28
Knights of Columbus Council 9676 will host its Charity Golf Tournament at Oak Mountain State Park, Oct. 28.
Come out and help the Knights raise funds to support a lot of worthwhile community programs for school scholarships, disaster relief programs, meals for area homeless shelters in the Jefferson-Shelby County area, youth programs, programs for people with intellectual disabilities, coats for kids, sponsor of blood drives with American Red Cross, BSA Eagle Scout Projects, Seminarian Tuition Assistance, and much more!
The tournament begins at 8 a.m. The format will be scramble with tees for men, seniors, and ladies/juniors. Entry fees are $100 for individuals and $400 for teams of four. The entry fee includes 18 holes of golf, cart, practice balls, lunch during the awards ceremony, door prizes, free entry to Oak Mountain State Park, and a chance to win a hole-in-one contest. Prizes will be awarded for 1st and 2nd place.
In addition to Tournament Team Prizes and door prizes, there will be many other contests, including hole-in-one, putting, and closest to the pin.
