Blessed Sacrament Knights of Columbus to host annual Homecoming Lasagna Dinner, Feb. 25
Blessed Sacrament Parish Knights of Columbus Council 931 will sponsor and host the annual Homecoming Lasagna Dinner on Saturday, Feb. 25. Mass will be at 4 p.m. and dinner will be served immediately after in the Parish Hall.
There will be a take out station and a "drive through" for individuals that wish to take their dinner home. Price of the dinner is $10 for adults, $5 for children (kids under 5 eat free). Tickets will be pre-sold and can be purchased from any of the Knights.
The dinner includes all the "trimmings" including dessert. This is the annual homecoming gathering for the parish and we hope to see many of our former parishioners. For information, please contact Father Jim Booth at 785-9840 or Jim Wathen at 222-1167.
Activity for senior adults
Feb. 23 at St. Francis Xavier
St. Francis Xavier church will host its monthly activity for all Catholic senior adults in the Birmingham area on Thursday, Feb. 23. The day will begin with Mass in the chapel at 11 a.m., followed by lunch and bingo in the parish hall and concluding at 2 p.m. Lunch will be furnished by Majestic Catering. A $7 donation is asked to defray costs. The menu will be: rosemary grilled chicken, roasted potatoes, lima beans, salad, rolls, dessert, tea and coffee.
