Diocese to host Martin Luther King, Jr. Diocesan Prayer Breakfast, Jan. 12
Th e Diocese of Birmingham' Offi ce of Black Catholic Ministry will present a Diocesan Prayer Breakfast in commemoration of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 12 at the Cathedral of St. Paul Life Center, 2120 3rd. Ave., N. in Birmingham.
During the breakfast, Therese Wilson Favors, professor, educator, catechist, and writer, will give a personal reflection and the Diocesan Gospel Choir, directed by Rev. Dr. Charles Diggins, will perform.
