Screening of the documentary movie “Outcasts”

Join us February 15, 2018, 7:00 PM at the St Paul’s Cathedral CLC Hall (upstairs) for a screening of the documentary movie “Outcasts” by Grassroots Films, featuring the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal (the community of which Fr Benedict Groeschel and Fr Andrew Apostoli were among the co-founders).

“A never before seen look into the lives of the world's outcasts and those who have become outcasts to share in their lives, the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal.”

Well produced and thought provoking, "Outcasts" is a Justice Award winning glimpse into ministry on the margins, some right here in the USA. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the director and one of the Franciscan Friars whose community are in the film. Tickets $10, online or at the door.

***The film is for mature audiences only. The situations the Friars enter into are raw and real, and the movie, like the Friars, does not shy away from that.

There will be a free will offering to help a similar mission coming to Birmingham in the near future...
