Knights of Columbus Assembly 2420
to sponsor blood drive on April 21
Almost every week, we are reminded that supplies of blood are in very short supply. On April 21, St. John the Baptist Knights of Columbus Assembly 2420, in conjunction with the American Red Cross, will continue its 21st consecutive year of bimonthly blood drives. Over the past 20 years, we have collected over 4900 pints of blood.
The April blood drive will begin at 9 a.m. and continue to 2 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Church on Hughes Road in Madison. The drive will be held in the church basement. Once again the Knights ask for the support of current, former, and new donors in their effort to provide the gift of life to those in need of blood and blood products.
All donors are urged to go to the Red Cross’ website WWW.REDCROSSBLOOD.ORG to make a donation appointment (enter the sponsor code – stjohns – to find our drive). Then make an appointment at any of the times available. On the day of the drive, go to the RapidPass page to enter your history information. This saves time at the drive.
