Apostolate with Mentally Retarded Persons

The Apostolate with Mentally Retarded Persons offers religious education, pastoral care and liturgical celebrations with children and adults who are mentally retarded in the cities of Birmingham, Decatur, Huntsville and Tuscaloosa. Resource staff and materials make it possible for mentally retarded children and adults, residing in outlying areas of the diocese, to receive religious instruction, sacramental preparation and pastoral care.
